Vandœuvres, Sunday May 22, 2022 - 120 players met at the Golf Club of Geneva to participate in the F.P.Journe Golf Cup. A not-to-be-missed event for club members who took part in this competition with a friendly formula of play in Greensome, Stableford.
The event marks the 9th edition of the tournament that takes place every year on this internationally renowned green. The course, designed in 1973 by Robert Trent Jones Senior, extends over 6'273 meters facing the Alps, the perfect opportunity for participants to show their skills in a privileged environment.
On this occasion, two models from the lineSport collection were highlighted: the Centigraphe and the Automatique Réserve. Thanks to the use of ultra-light and resistant materials, such as Aluminum alloy for the movements and Titanium for the cases and bracelets, these timepieces, which weigh just over 80 grams, provide incomparable comfort when worn, while at the same time offering chronometric precision.
This year, the gross ranking rewarded Gwynn Brand and Damien Maréchal.
In the net ranking, Thomas Bergerat and Benjamin Lavizzari took first place with a score of 43, followed closely by runners-up Anthony Killen and Louis Vermeil, with Elodie and Georges-Alexandre Sturdza completing the podium.
Many other prizes were awarded to winners in different categories: Nearest to the pin, men and women, the Visitor prize, and the Junior prize won by Ludivine Berger and Victor Troller.
The random draw went to Augustin de Jamblinne, who won the most important prize of the competition: an F.P.Journe alarm clock.
Many thanks to the Maison Laurent-Perrier, partner of the F.P.Journe Golf Cup.
