24 October - François-Paul Journe was invited to hold a discussion on the history of calendar watches at the Horological Society of New York, along with a panel of esteemed experts including Jack Forster, the editor in chief of Hodinkee, Noel Poirier of the NAWCC, and Pierre Halimi Lacharlotte. 150 members of the HSNY and 20 F.P.Journe clients attended the event, which was followed by a Question & Answer session. A selection of important calendar pocket watches from F.P.Journe’s Steel Time collection, as well as several watches from the National Watch & Clock Museum, were exhibited in showcases along with the new F.P.Journe Quantième Perpétuel with instantaneous jump.
